International Election Visitor Program

8-14 April, Seoul, Republic of Korea

Between 8 and 14 April, the National Electoral Commission of the Republic of Korea and our partner, the A-WEB organised an International Election Visitor Program and the 2016 Seoul International Forum on Elections in Seoul. Executive Board Meeting of the ACEEEO

ACEEEO’s main operative organ, the Executive Board held its meeting in Budapest on 10 March 2016. The representatives of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Latvia, Lithuania, the Republic of Moldova, Romania, the Russian Federation and also guests of the Association took part in the event, where they discussed the most important issues of the ACEEEO.

6th Annual Meeting of Election Management Bodies

15-18 February 2016, Kakheti Region, Georgia

On 15-18 February took place the 6th Annual Meeting of Election Management Bodies in Georgia’s Kakheti Region, at Lake Lopota.
The event was organised by our member, the Central Election Commission of Georgia, ICPS and IFES. Celebrating the Global Elections Day

On 4 February the ACEEEO Community celebrated the Global Elections Day for the 11th time. Almost half of the ACEEEO members have already joined us in celebrating the GED on the first Thursday of February each year. Secretary General’s visit to Poland and Ukraine during elections

24-25 October 2015, Warsaw, Poland and Kyiv, Ukraine

Upon the invitation of the National Election Office of Poland the Secretary General visited Warsaw on 24 October. Representatives of the ACEEEO members (Latvia, Lithuania, Romania) and observers from Kosovo and Thailand have met the Chairman, the Secretary and the Members of the National Electoral Commission. Observation of the Parliamentary Elections of the Kyrgyz Republic

4 October 2015, Bishkek, the Kyrgyz Republic

Upon the invitation of the Central Commission for Elections and Referenda of the Kyrgyz Republic several representatives of our Members from Armenia, Latvia, Lithuania and the Russian Federation observed the election of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic. New Associate institutional member of ACEEEO: Fijian Elections Office (FEO)

The General Assembly on its meeting on 9 September 2015 accepted the application of the Fijian Elections Office (FEO) for being an associate institutional member of ACEEEO.
