New presidency of ACEEEO

On its meeting on 9 September 2015, the General Assembly of ACEEEO decided that the Association shall hold its 25th Anniversary Conference and General Assembly Meeting in 2016 in Tirana, Albania. According to the Charter it means that the position of the President of ACEEEO will be held for the following year by the chairperson of Central Election Commission of Albania. Ms. Lefterije Luzi took over the bird symbolizing the Presidency of the Association.

Memorandum of Understanding with the Association of ArabEMBs

Based on the decision of the General Assembly, on behalf of the Association President and Secretary General signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Association of Arab Electoral Management Bodies. ACEEEO has provided help by the preparation and launch of this new regional organisation and plans common projects to enhance free and fair elections in the region.

12th European Conference of Electoral Management Bodies

ACEEEO's partner, the Venice Commission organised the 12th European Conference of Electoral Management Bodies on 30-31 March 2015 in Brussels, Belgium. International Conference 'General Elections 2014 – Lessons learned'

Our members, the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Association of Election Officials of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AEOBiH) held an international conference entitled 'General Elections 2014 – Lessons learned' on 20-21 March 2015, Teslic, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

В 2015 году уже 10-й раз АОВСЕ отметила Всемирный день выборов. Решение конференция GEO в 2005 г. открыло новые перспективы в признании важности работы организаторов выборов, отмечая демократические достижения и ознакомляя граждан с работой избирательных органов. Визит Генерального секретаря в Польше и Украине во время выборов

24-25 октября 2015, Варшава, Польша и Киев, Украина

По приглашению Национального избирательного бюро Польши, Генеральный секретарь посетил Варшаву 24 октября. Представители членов АОВСЕ (Латвия, Литва, Румыния) и наблюдатели из Косово и Таиланда встретились с председатем, секретарем и членами Национальной избирательной комиссии.
