The ACEEEO Executive Board held its meeting on 12 May 2017 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The presidency of the Association was taken over officially by the Central Election Commission of Bulgaria that will hold it until November 2017. The meeting was chaired by Ivilina Aleksieva-Robinson, president of ACEEEO and chairperson of the CEC Bulgaria. The Executive Board had institutional issues on the agenda as the Annual Report of 2016, implementation of the Strategic Plan, the preparation of the next Strategic Plan and cooperation plans.
In the afternoon, the Executive Board met with the members of the Central Election Commission who presented the institution and elections in Bulgaria.
