25 years is a long period in a human life but even longer in a life of an organisation. We are pleased to celebrate our 25 year anniversary in 2016.

We would like to invite the members, partners and friends of ACEEEO to send their greetings to the Association and to present not only their memories and past stories but also about their hopes and wishes for the next 25 years.

Please share with us a story, your wishes or just a few lines about what ACEEEO means to you! Send it to aceeeo@aceeeo.org until 30 June at the latest so we could gather and publish the greetings until the Anniversary Conference in September.

ACEEEO’s Executive Board held its meeting in Budapest on 10 March 2016. The representatives of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Latvia, Lithuania, the Republic of Moldova, Romania, the Russian Federation and also guests of the Association took part in the event where they discussed the most important issues of the ACEEEO. Such current topic was accepting the Annual Report 2015, the implementation of the Strategic Plan, and also the intention of the A-WEB for signing an agreement with the Association. As the ACEEEO celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2016, the representatives discussed the roadmap of festive events and publications. The Secretariat presented the project of the book ‘ACEEEO 25 - Development of Electoral Systems in Central and Eastern Europe since 1991’, and preparations were also mentioned for the 25th Annual Conference of the General Assembly in Tirana later this year.
